Out of the box, the MU01 comes pre-assembled with a beautiful 65% layout, and includes a range of useful accessories: a USB-C cable, a wireless receiver, a switch puller, a keycap puller, and an unidentified mystery tool that might be lube—or might not. Regardless, it’s a solid unboxing experience. The keyboard supports triple-mode connectivity (USB-C, Bluetooth, and 2.4GHz wireless), and features a brushed accent piece that adds to its sleek and modern vibe.

The stock build is no slouch either. It features MOA profile PBT dye-sub keycaps, which feel fantastic to the touch, and Akko V3 Piano Pro linear switches—widely praised for their smoothness and sound quality. This board is hot-swappable with five-pin south-facing sockets, and features no flex cuts (which the reviewer actually prefers for stability).
